Information we collect

• Account information - when you register: your first and last name, email address, birthday, gender and password. Passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form. Your email is used to verify your account and to contact you about it.
• Content you contribute - playlists, comments, likes and synchronized lyrics (LRC) you create with the LRC Maker. LRC files and your display name as their contributor may be shown publicly.
• Usage information - the songs you play and download, the pages you visit, and technical data sent by your browser or device, such as your IP address and user agent. We use it to count plays and downloads, rank songs and artists, prevent abuse and keep the service secure.
• Guest identifier - if you use Megalobiz without an account, a random identifier is stored on your device so plays and LRC contributions can be counted without asking who you are.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences - such as your language, theme (light or dark) and your player queue. These are necessary for the website to work as expected.

How we use and share information

The information you provide and that is created when you interact with our website is used by our Staff to run and improve Megalobiz and for statistics purposes. We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with service providers that host our data and files on our behalf, or when required by law.
