Castle on the hill
[00:02.16] When I was six years old, I broke my leg
[00:13.16] I was running from my brother and his friends
[00:20.91] And tasted the sweet perfume of the mountain grass I rolled down
[00:28.16] I was younger then, take me back to when I
[00:35.16] Found my heart and broke it here
[00:38.66] Made friends and lost them through the years
[00:42.41] And I've not seen the roaring fields in so long
[00:47.16] I know I've grown, but I can't wait to go home
[00:52.40] I'm on my way
[00:56.15] Driving at 90 down those country lanes
[01:02.91] Singing to Tiny Dancer
[01:06.91] And I miss the way you make me feel, and it's real
[01:13.91] When we watched the sunset over the castle on the hill
[01:24.66] Fifteen years old and smoking hand-rolled cigarettes
[01:32.16] Running from the law through the backfields and
[01:35.16] Getting drunk with my friends
[01:39.16] Had my first kiss on a Friday night
[01:42.66] I don't reckon that I did it right, but
[01:46.91] I was younger then, take me back to when
[01:52.66] We found weekend jobs, when we got paid
[01:56.91] We'd buy cheap spirits and drink them straight
[02:00.66] Me and my friends have not thrown up in so long
[02:05.16] Oh, how we've grown, but I can't wait to go home
[02:10.41] I'm on my way
[02:14.16] Driving at 90 down those country lanes
[02:21.41] Singing to Tiny Dancer
[02:24.66] And I miss the way you make me feel, and it's real
[02:32.40] When we watched the sunset over the castle on the hill
[02:42.66] Over the castle on the hill
[02:49.32] Over the castle on the hill
[02:59.22] One friend left to sell clothes
[03:04.72] One works down by the coast
[03:08.22] One had two kids, but lives alone
[03:11.71] One's brother overdosed
[03:15.71] One's already on his second wife
[03:19.46] One's just barely getting by, but
[03:22.72] These people raised me
[03:24.97] And I can't wait to go home
[03:29.21] And I'm on my way
[03:32.47] I still remember these old country lanes
[03:39.47] When we did not know the answers
[03:43.22] And I miss the way you make me feel, and it's real
[03:50.71] When we watched the sunset over the castle on the hill
[04:00.96] Over the castle on the hill
[04:07.96] Over the castle on the hill
