Highland
[00:20.37] Looking out and I'm wondering where I am
[00:23.62] While I'm stuck in the daily traffic jam
[00:25.87] I decide to get out and leave the world behind me
[00:31.65] Everywhere there are people passing by
[00:34.37] Empty faces and not a friendly smile
[00:37.12] Under stress, loneliness, a part of our city
[00:42.62] Now I finally have decided
[00:45.37] I will leave it all behind
[00:47.87] And discover something better
[00:50.62] And l know where I will find
[00:53.87] Find a place of harmony, of laughter and of dreams
[00:58.87] It you want me, that is where I'll be
[01:03.62] -
[01:06.87] I'll be waiting on the Highland
[01:09.37] With its wonderful serenity
[01:12.12] Where the stars glow and the brooks flow
[01:14.87] That's my way of life
[01:17.62] When the mountains on the Highland
[01:20.37] And the nature is surrounding me
[01:23.12] When the wind blows That's all I need, all I need
[01:31.12] -
[01:35.12] On the highlands when I was a child
[01:37.62] I would play with my friends and we were wild
[01:40.37] And we all loved the moors, the nature and it's freedom
[01:45.87] And we went for ghost hunt in the mist
[01:48.87] I remember the first time I got kissed
[01:51.27] By the shy neighbour guy, who whispered "be my girlfriend"
[01:57.02] But I longed for some excitement
[01:59.52] So l travelled 'round the world
[02:02.02] After that I settled down and
[02:04.77] I became a city girl
[02:07.77] Went to parties every night and lived intensively
[02:13.27] Now I know it's not a life for me
[02:17.52] -
[02:21.02] I'll be waiting on the Highland
[02:23.27] With it's wonderful serenity
[02:26.27] Where the stars glow and the brooks flow
[02:29.02] That's my way of life
[02:31.77] When the mountains on the Highland
[02:34.27] And the nature is surrounding me
[02:37.27] When the wind blows
[02:38.77] That's all I need
[02:42.77] On the Highland, on the Highland, you will see
[02:51.02] -
[03:07.77] If you join me I can promise
[03:10.02] You'll stay until eternity
[03:18.27] I'll be waiting on the Highland
[03:20.77] With it's wonderful serenity
[03:23.77] Where the stars glow and the brooks flow
[03:26.52] That's my way of life
[03:29.27] When the mountains on the Highland
[03:32.02] And the nature is surrounding me
[03:34.77] When the wind blows
[03:36.52] That's all I need
[03:39.27] On the Highland-
[03:43.02] Smiling you'll be
[03:49.52] -
