Jesus, Friend Of Sinners

[00:20.91] Jesus, friend of sinners, we have strayed so far away

[00:27.66] We cut down people in Your name, but the sword was never ours to swing

[00:37.42] Jesus, friend of sinners, the truth's become so hard to see

[00:44.16] The world is on their way to You, but they're trippin' over me

[00:51.66] Always lookin' around, but never lookin' up, I'm so double minded

[00:58.66] A plank eyed saint with dirty hands and a heart divided

[01:06.16] Oh, Jesus, friend of sinners

[01:11.41] Open our eyes to the world at the end of our pointing fingers

[01:18.41] Oh, let our hearts be led by mercy

[01:24.41] Help us reach with open hearts and open doors

[01:32.17] Oh, Jesus, friend of sinners, break our hearts for what breaks Yours

[01:41.91] Yeah, yeah

[01:51.66] Jesus, friend of sinners, the one who's writing in the sand

[01:57.66] Made the righteous turn away and the stones fall from their hands

[02:04.42] Help us to remember we are all the least of these

[02:10.92] Let the memory of Your mercy bring Your people to their knees

[02:17.91] Nobody knows what we're for, only what we're against when we judge the wounded

[02:24.17] What if we put down our signs, crossed over the lines and love like You did?

[02:32.67] Oh, Jesus, friend of sinners

[02:37.67] Open our eyes to the world at the end of our pointing fingers

[02:44.41] And let our hearts be led by mercy

[02:50.66] Help us reach with open hearts and open doors

[02:57.92] Oh, Jesus, friend of sinners, break our hearts for what breaks Yours

[03:07.16] You love every lost cause, You reach for the outcast (every outcast)

[03:13.92] For the leper and the lame; they're the reason that You came

[03:19.92] Lord, I was that lost cause (I was that lost cause) and I was the outcast (and I was the outcast)

[03:26.16] But You died for sinners just like me, a grateful leper at Your feet

[03:34.42] 'Cause You are good, oh, You are good and Your love endures forever

[03:47.41] Oh, You are good, You are good and Your love, endures forever

[04:05.92] Oh, You are good, yes, You are good and Your love endures forever

[04:19.66] Oh, You are good, oh, You are good and Your love endures forever

[04:27.42] Jesus, friend of sinners

[04:32.67] Open our eyes to the world at the end of our pointing fingers

[04:39.17] But let our hearts be led by mercy

[04:45.91] Help us reach with open hearts and open doors

[04:52.92] Oh, Jesus, friend of sinners, break our hearts for what breaks Yours

[05:08.67] And I was the lost cause and I was the outcast

[05:15.16] Yeah

[05:21.66] You died for sinners just like me, a grateful leper at Your feet
