Castle on hills

[00:28.80] When I was six years old I broke my leg

[00:28.82] I was running from my brother and his friends

[00:36.82] And tasted the sweet perfume of the mountain grass I rolled down

[00:43.82] I was younger then, take me back to when I

[00:50.82] Found my heart and broke it here

[00:55.82] Made friends and lost them through the years

[00:58.82] And I've not seen the roaring fields in so long, I know I've grown

[01:05.81] But I can't wait to go home

[01:10.74] I'm on my way

[01:12.79] Driving at ninety down those country lanes

[01:19.81] Singing to "Tiny Dancer"

[01:23.81] And I miss the way you make me feel, and it's real

[01:30.83] We watched the sunset over the castle on the hill

[01:37.82] Fifteen years old and smoking hand-rolled cigarettes

[01:46.79] Running from the law through the backfields and getting drunk with my friends

[01:54.82] Had my first kiss on a Friday night, I don't reckon that I did it right

[02:02.82] But I was younger then, take me back to when

[02:07.81] We found weekend jobs, when we got paid

[02:13.81] We'd buy cheap spirits and drink them straight

[02:17.82] Me and my friends have not thrown up in so long, oh how we've grown

[02:24.72] But I can't wait to go home

[02:27.82] I'm on my way

[02:29.82] Driving at ninety down those country lanes

[02:36.81] Singing to "Tiny Dancer"

[02:41.81] And I miss the way you make me feel, and it's real

[02:48.81] We watched the sunset over the castle on the hill

[02:56.82] Over the castle on the hill

[03:04.82] Over the castle on the hill

[03:13.75] One friend left to sell clothes

[03:21.83] One works down by the coast

[03:24.82] One had two kids but lives alone

[03:28.75] One's brother overdosed

[03:31.81] One's already on his second wife

[03:34.81] One's just barely getting by

[03:38.82] But these people raised me and I can't wait to go home

[03:45.82] And I'm on my way, I still remember

[03:54.82] This old country lanes

[03:56.81] When we did not know the answers

[03:59.82] And I miss the way you make me feel, it's real

[04:07.74] We watched the sunset over the castle on the hill

[04:15.76] Over the castle on the hill

[04:23.75] Over the castle on the hill
