Blessings

[00:17.60] We pray for blessings, we pray for peace

[00:25.10] Comfort for family, protection while we sleep

[00:34.12] We pray for healing, for prosperity

[00:41.61] We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering

[00:50.10] And all the while, You hear each spoken need

[00:57.86] Yet love us way too much to give us lesser things

[01:05.61] 'Cause what if your blessings come through rain drops

[01:09.35] What if Your healing comes through tears

[01:13.60] What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near

[01:23.35] What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise

[01:40.60] We pray for wisdom, Your voice to hear

[01:47.86] We cry in anger when we cannot feel You near

[01:56.35] We doubt your goodness, we doubt your love

[02:04.61] As if every promise from Your word is not enough

[02:12.10] And all the while, You hear each desperate plea

[02:20.35] And long that we'd have faith to believe

[02:27.85] 'Cause what if your blessings come through rain drops

[02:32.10] What if Your healing comes through tears

[02:36.11] What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near

[02:45.86] What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise

[02:58.85] When friends betray us

[03:02.36] When darkness seems to win

[03:05.86] We know that pain reminds this heart

[03:09.85] That this is not,

[03:11.86] This is not our home

[03:21.60] It's not our home

[03:34.38] 'Cause what if your blessings come through rain drops

[03:38.10] What if Your healing comes through tears

[03:42.62] What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near

[03:51.85] What if my greatest disappointments or the aching of this life

[03:59.86] Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can't satisfy

[04:09.61] What if trials of this life

[04:14.37] The rain, the storms, the hardest nights

[04:18.88] Are your mercies in disguise
