Love Moved First

[00:07.94] This is the story of a runaway

[00:10.69] With no way home and no way out

[00:14.45] I threw the best of me away

[00:17.46] I had my chance, it's too late now

[00:20.72] Too far gone and too ashamed

[00:24.47] To think that you'd still know my name

[00:27.73] But love refused to let my story end that way

[00:35.50] You didn't wait for me to find my way to You

[00:42.77] I couldn't cross that distance even if I wanted to

[00:48.28] You came running after me

[00:52.29] When anybody else would've turned and left me at my worst

[00:59.30] Love moved first

[01:09.08] What kind of grace, relentless grace

[01:12.59] Would chase this rebel down

[01:15.35] Crawl into this prisoners cage

[01:18.61] Take my hand and pull me out

[01:21.62] You knew I couldn't make the change

[01:25.38] So You became the change in me

[01:28.65] And now I live to tell the story

[01:32.65] Of the God who rescues

[01:37.16] You didn't wait for me to find my way to You

[01:44.68] I couldn't cross that distance even if I wanted to

[01:49.45] You came running after me

[01:53.21] When anybody else would've turned and left me at my worst

[02:00.37] Love moved first

[02:01.87] From the throne to the manger

[02:04.62] From a manger to the grave

[02:08.38] Your cross is the proof

[02:11.40] Love made the first move

[02:15.16] From a grave meant to keep You

[02:18.41] To a stone rolled away

[02:21.42] Your cross is the proof

[02:24.68] Love made the first move

[02:28.69] I remember where You found me

[02:31.95] I'm amazed by where I stand

[02:34.46] Your cross is the proof

[02:38.47] That love made the first move

[02:42.23] You didn't wait for me to find my way to You

[02:49.49] I couldn't cross that distance even if I wanted to

[02:57.26] You came running after me

[03:00.77] When anybody else would've turned and left me at my worst

[03:07.79] Love moved first

[03:10.55] Oh-oh, oh-oh

[03:14.56] Love moved first
