[00:05.75] My name is Evan, and I'm your homestay host.

[00:10.00] I would love to show you around my house today.

[00:13.98] I live here with my wife Luna, my daughter Mia, and my son James.

[00:21.16] Now we're at the gate.

[00:23.55] You can see the garden, where we plant many flowers.

[00:28.06] The garage is on your left.

[00:31.25] That's also the place we keep large rubbish bins.

[00:35.23] Open the door and walk in, and we're now standing at the front hall.

[00:41.61] On the ground floor, there's a large living room.

[00:46.12] My wife likes these floor-to-ceiling windows because they can make more natural light get in.

[00:55.16] The sitting area has a cosy sofa, a couple of chairs, and a soft carpet.

[01:02.86] Mia and James usually sit on the carpet to read.

[01:07.91] Luna and I decided to put a bookcase instead of a television in our living room because we believe that reading is better for our kids than watching TV.

[01:21.98] We have various reading time every week and you're welcome to join.

[01:28.36] In winter, when the temperature outside is low, it is very lovely to enjoy a book beside the fireplace.

[01:38.19] The kitchen is certainly my favourite place in the house.

[01:43.23] I love cooking.

[01:45.09] We have various cooking tools and equipment.

[01:49.08] The oven and the fridge are a little bit old, but they're still working well.

[01:55.98] Plates and cups are in these drawers and cupboards.

[02:00.50] We don't use the dining room very often.

[02:03.95] Only when we have guests do we use it.
