Seasons
[00:00.68] Hillsong Worship
[00:02.02] "Seasons"
[00:04.94] Like the frost on a rose
[00:10.26] Winter comes for us all
[00:15.04] Oh how nature acquaints us
[00:19.82] With the nature of patience
[00:24.86] Like a seed in the snow
[00:29.65] I've been buried to grow
[00:34.43] For Your promise is loyal
[00:39.48] From seed to sequoia
[00:45.05] I know
[00:47.97] Though the winter is long even richer
[00:53.29] The harvest it brings
[00:57.80] Though my waiting prolongs even greater
[01:03.38] Your promise for me like a seed
[01:07.90] I believe that my season will come
[01:19.11] Lord I think of Your love
[01:23.89] Like the low winter sun
[01:28.67] And as I gaze I am blinded
[01:33.72] In the light of Your brightness
[01:38.77] And like a fire to the snow
[01:43.81] I'm renewed in Your warmth
[01:48.60] Melt the ice of this wild soul
[01:53.37] Till the barren is beautiful
[01:58.95] And I know
[02:02.14] Though the winter is long even richer
[02:07.19] The harvest it brings
[02:11.70] Though my waiting prolongs even greater
[02:16.75] Your promise for me like a seed
[02:21.80] I believe that my season will come
[02:36.19] I can see the promise
[02:38.58] I can see the future
[02:40.96] You're the God of seasons
[02:43.62] And I'm just in the winter
[02:45.75] If all I know of harvest
[02:48.14] Is that it's worth my patience
[02:51.06] Then if You're not done working
[02:53.45] God I'm not done waiting
[02:55.84] You can see my promise
[02:58.23] Even in the winter
[03:00.89] Cause You're the God of greatness
[03:03.28] Even in a manger
[03:05.67] For all I know of seasons
[03:08.33] Is that You take Your time
[03:10.45] You could have saved us in a second
[03:13.37] Instead You sent a child
[03:21.34] Though the winter is long even richer
[03:26.38] The harvest it brings
[03:30.91] Though my waiting prolongs even greater
[03:36.22] Your promise for me like a seed
[03:40.75] I believe that my season will come
[03:47.13] And when I finally see my tree
[03:50.58] Still I believe there's a season to come
[04:02.04] Like a seed You were sown
[04:06.30] For the sake of us all
[04:11.60] From Bethlehem's soil
[04:16.91] Grew Calvary's sequoia
