Rosendale - The King (Sub Español)

[00:09.02] There was a king

[00:10.62] Living carefree

[00:13.01] He wanted the world he wanted everything

[00:17.26] He ruled with a fist

[00:19.65] His people were starved

[00:22.04] He watched as they begged behind his castle guards

[00:33.73] Diamonds and pearls

[00:37.98] Emeralds and gold

[00:40.10] He bathed in the riches only he could know

[00:44.89] But with time came age

[00:46.74] His health in decline

[00:49.13] The fate of his legacy left to the tides

[00:53.92] So he ran to his queen and demanded a child

[00:58.16] Planted his seed then he cast her aside

[01:02.68] Several moons later she bore him a son

[01:06.94] But died just to give him his own flesh and blood

[01:12.24] Ooh

[01:15.70] Ooh

[01:20.74] The son grew like weeds

[01:22.87] He soon was eighteen

[01:25.26] He ventured outside of the castle to see

[01:29.51] The faces so gaunt

[01:31.90] The dead in the streets

[01:34.03] They cried out for help but nobody could hear

[01:38.81] Deep down inside him something had stirred

[01:42.79] He laughed at the ruins his father incurred

[01:47.57] Fire in his veins he stormed back to the throne

[01:52.09] Stared down the king with a rage still unknown

[01:56.60] Ooh

[02:05.90] The father decreed

[02:07.76] The new rule of law

[02:10.16] His son to be banished outside of the walls

[02:14.40] But the son had a plan

[02:16.79] And his heart was convinced

[02:18.91] There'd never be room for both king and a prince

[02:23.70] He rallied the people and charged through the gates

[02:27.95] Shield in one hand but the other a blade

[02:33.26] With one fell swoop his own father deposed

[02:36.72] He sat on the throne and adorned his new crown

[02:41.76] Ooh

[02:50.79] The son was elated

[02:52.65] The kingdom was his

[02:55.04] Diamonds and emeralds and gold-plated bliss

[02:59.29] But what of the people

[03:01.95] The legends don't say

[03:04.07] Just like a memory

[03:06.20] They faded away

[03:17.88] There was a king

[03:19.75] Living carefree

[03:22.14] He wanted the world he wanted everything
