yt1s.com - The Most Beautiful Story feat Allyse Smith Taylor

[00:14.87] If you'll listen my darling, tonight 'ere you rest

[00:22.48] I'll tell you the story your daddy* loves best

[00:28.85] How a marvelous thing that all children should know

[00:36.30] Happened in Bethlehem, long, long ago

[00:57.57] There were stars in the heavens, all shining and bright

[01:04.21] And a new star was rising o'er Judah that night

[01:10.59] For within a poor stable a baby was born

[01:17.50] And that beautiful baby was Jesus our Lord

[01:31.59] It's a story of wonder and glory and awe

[01:33.45] Filled with heavenly love and the goodness of God

[01:39.56] Learn it well, take it with you wherever you go

[01:48.85] The most beautiful story that's ever been told

[02:08.77] Though the folk in the village were all fast asleep

[02:13.04] There were shepherds out watching that night with their sheep

[02:22.61] When a legion of angels came down from on high

[02:29.51] Singing and bringing great tidings of joy

[02:36.95] It's a story of wonder and glory and awe

[02:43.32] Filled with heavenly love and the goodness of God

[02:50.23] Learn it well, take it with you wherever you go

[02:59.29] The most beautiful story that's ever been told

[03:08.34] In a manger he lay as the angels had said

[03:14.72] While Mary and Joseph kept watch by his bed

[03:21.35] For the babe was our Savior, the Father's own Son

[03:29.34] Sent to love little children and bless everyone

[03:42.36] It's a beautiful story, the sweetest I've heard

[03:49.26] Full of comfort and hope, and it's true--every word

[03:56.43] So remember it always, and then when you're grown

[04:05.20] Tell this sweet story to babes of your own

[04:12.90] It's a story of wonder and glory and awe

[04:19.54] Filled with heavenly love and the goodness of God

[04:26.71] Learn it well, take it with you wherever you go

[04:36.54] The most beautiful story that's ever been told
