09 - Blind Man

[00:13.64] I took a course in hallelujah

[00:20.02] I went to night school for the blues

[00:25.84] I took some stuff they said would cool ya

[00:32.40] but nothing seemed to light my fuse

[00:37.99] But it's all in the past

[00:40.91] like a check that's in the mail

[00:43.84] she was a tall whiskey glass

[00:47.01] I was an old hound dog that just loved to chase his tail

[00:53.14] Until I met a blind man

[00:56.31] who taught me how to see

[01:00.22] A blind man

[01:02.33] who could change night into day

[01:05.53] And if I can

[01:08.71] I'm gonna make you come with me

[01:13.39] Because here comes the sun and we'll be chasing all the cloudsaway

[01:29.77] I've had some lovers like a joy ride

[01:36.04] some things are never what they seem

[01:41.88] my heaven's turned into a landslide

[01:48.15] I thank God I woke up from the dream

[01:55.60] I met a blind man

[01:58.43] who taught me how to see

[02:01.62] A blind man

[02:04.55] who could change night into day

[02:07.19] And if I can

[02:10.64] I'm gonna make you come with me

[02:15.71] Because here comes the sun and we'll be chasing all the clouds

[02:18.61] The way bees chase honey

[02:21.44] and drink all the flowers dry

[02:24.88] we'll be saving us a little money

[02:27.28] and if that don't do it, yeah, I know the reason why

[02:32.42] Don't make no sense lightin' candles

[02:37.64] there's too much moonlight in our eyes

[02:45.08] I met a blind man

[02:47.64] who taught me how to see

[02:50.83] A blind man

[02:54.03] who could change night into day

[02:56.85] And if I can

[03:00.30] I'm gonna make you come with me

[03:08.26] Because here comes the sun

[03:10.34] ain't no surprise

[03:11.57] ain't no doubt about it

[03:12.89] gonna open up your eyes
