“It Will Not Be Late!” (2023 Convention Song)

[00:19.28] Beauty fills the earth, wonder fills our mind—

[00:26.18] The work of your hands so patiently designed.

[00:34.15] Though the world may change, you remain the same.

[00:41.33] You patiently wait to make it new again.

[00:48.55] (CHORUS)

[00:50.15] Father, we long to see Paradise come to be.

[00:58.66] Give us the patience to wait.

[01:05.03] We know your day will come, sure as the rising sun.

[01:13.56] No matter how long it takes,

[01:20.73] “It will not be late!”

[01:30.58] Faithfully we wait for the dead to rise.

[01:37.47] Jehovah, you yearn to bring them back to life.

[01:45.44] Father, we well know how you loved them so.

[01:52.63] Instill in our hearts the patience you have shown.

[01:59.52] (CHORUS)

[02:01.39] Father, we long to see Paradise come to be.

[02:09.90] Give us the patience to wait.

[02:16.53] We know your day will come, sure as the rising sun.

[02:24.80] No matter how long it takes,

[02:31.96] “It will not be late!”

[02:41.80] Patiently you search; honest hearts you find.

[02:48.70] You heal them with hope and long to give them life.

[02:56.67] Working by your side, sharing what is true,

[03:03.83] We use our time well. It draws us close to you.

[03:11.30] (CHORUS)

[03:12.62] Father, we long to see Paradise come to be.

[03:21.38] Give us the patience to wait.

[03:28.01] We know your day will come, sure as the rising sun.

[03:36.51] No matter how long it takes,

[03:43.41] “It will not be late!”

[03:53.25] Father, please help us to wait!
