“It Will Not Be Late!” (2023 Convention Song)

[00:18.74] 1.Beauty fills the earth, wonder fills our mind—

[00:26.11] The work of your hands so patiently designed.

[00:33.56] Though the world may change, you remain the same.

[00:40.72] You patiently wait to make it new again.

[00:47.63] (CHORUS)

[00:49.49] Father, we long to see Paradise come to be.

[00:57.99] Give us the patience to wait.

[01:04.37] We know your day will come, sure as the rising sun.

[01:12.88] No matter how long it takes,

[01:19.78] “It will not be late!”

[01:29.65] 2.Faithfully we wait for the dead to rise.

[01:37.09] Jehovah, you yearn to bring them back to life.

[01:44.80] Father, we well know how you loved them so.

[01:51.71] Instill in our hearts the patience you have shown.

[02:00.50] Father, we long to see Paradise come to be.

[02:09.28] Give us the patience to wait.

[02:15.66] We know your day will come, sure as the rising sun.

[02:24.16] No matter how long it takes,

[02:31.06] “It will not be late!”

[02:40.93] 3.Patiently you search; honest hearts you find.

[02:48.09] You heal them with hope and long to give them life.

[02:56.08] Working by your side, sharing what is true,

[03:02.99] We use our time well. It draws us close to you.

[03:11.75] Father, we long to see Paradise come to be.

[03:20.52] Give us the patience to wait.

[03:27.16] We know your day will come, sure as the rising sun.

[03:35.66] No matter how long it takes,

[03:42.83] “It will not be late!”

[03:52.39] Father, please help us to wait!
