Steve
[00:00.03] I know the Bible isn't perfect
[00:02.04] 'Cause it left one person out
[00:04.28] There was Adam, there was Eve
[00:06.53] And there was someone else around
[00:08.53] Yeah, I think his name was Steve
[00:11.55] And he was passing through town
[00:17.28] When he heard a snake a-whispering
[00:19.31] To Adam in the garden
[00:21.54] "Take the fruit, it's good for you"
[00:23.55] Steve said, "I beg your pardon
[00:25.78] I know it's not my business
[00:28.53] But will you just hear me out"
[00:34.03] He said, "I wouldn't lie
[00:36.28] You should not go to that tree
[00:38.53] The serpent knows the apple grows from a forbidden seed
[00:42.54] Oh, you want what you can't have
[00:44.54] But you've got all the things you need"
[00:46.78] There was Adam, there was Eve, and there was Steve
[00:51.03] He said, "Adam, don't be fooled by the snake
[00:58.03] Don't risk it all for a taste
[01:00.78] Oh, what a waste
[01:04.03] To have everything and give it all away"
[01:08.28] Adam looked around and as he wrestled with his fate
[01:12.30] Steve and Eve rolled up their sleeves to wrestle with that snake
[01:16.55] In the midst of all the chaos
[01:19.28] Steve was still screaming out
[01:25.53] He said, "I wouldn't lie
[01:27.30] You should not go to that tree
[01:29.79] The serpent knows the apple grows from a forbidden seed
[01:31.79] Oh, you want what you can't have
[01:35.52] But you've got all the things you need"
[01:38.03] There was Adam, there was Eve, and there was Steve
[01:42.03] He said, "Adam, don't be fooled by the snake
[01:49.28] Don't risk it all for a taste
[01:51.78] Oh, what a waste
[01:54.79] To have everything and give it all away"
[01:59.53] Sometimes I feel like Adam
[02:01.53] 'Cause I've got more than I need
[02:03.55] But even when I have it all
[02:05.80] I want what's out of reach
[02:07.54] Maybe I should learn my lesson
[02:10.56] Like Steve was talkin' to me
[02:16.28] He said, "I wouldn't lie
[02:18.29] You should not go to that tree
[02:20.29] The serpent knows the apple grows from a forbidden seed
[02:24.54] Oh, you want what you can't have
[02:26.55] But you've got all the things you need"
[02:29.04] There was Adam, there was Eve, and there was Steve
[02:33.03] He said, "Adam, don't be fooled by the snake
[02:36.28] Don't risk it all for a taste
[02:42.54] Oh, what a waste
[02:45.53] To have everything and give it all away"
