Fishing In The Dark

[00:13.11] Lazy yellow moon comin' up tonite,

[00:16.04] shinin' thru the trees,

[00:19.49] Crickets are singin' and lightning bugs

[00:21.62] are floatin on the breeze

[00:24.01] Baby get ready.....

[00:30.64] Across the field where the creek turns back by the ole stump

[00:37.30] road

[00:38.10] I'm gonna take you to a special place that nobody knows

[00:42.09] Baby get ready.....OooooooOooo

[00:49.79] You and me going fishing in the dark,

[00:52.18] Lying on our backs and counting the stars

[00:55.64] Where the cool grass grows.

[01:01.47] Down by the river in the full moon light,

[01:04.66] We'll be fallin' in love in the middle of the night

[01:07.85] Just movin' slow...

[01:14.24] Stayin' the whole night thru, feels so good to be with you...

[01:26.98] Spring is almost over and the summer's come

[01:29.33] and the days are gettin' long

[01:32.78] Waited all winter for the time to be right, just to take you

[01:35.16] along

[01:37.56] Baby get ready.....

[01:46.12] And it don't matter if we sit forever and the fish don't bite

[01:50.90] Jump in the river and cool ourselves from the heat of the night

[01:56.22] Baby get ready.....OoooooooOoo.

[02:03.64] Repeat the CHORUS (x3)

[02:34.20] You and me going fishin in the dark!
