Tempest Shadow - Open Up Your Eyes (Lyrics) - My Little Pony_ The Movie (320K)

[00:07.77] It's time you learned a lesson

[00:11.49] It's time that you understand

[00:15.47] Don't ever count on anybody else

[00:18.92] In this or any other land

[00:22.92] I once hoped for friendship

[00:26.10] To find a place among my kind

[00:30.61] But those were the childish wishes

[00:34.37] Of someone who was blind

[00:37.31] Open up your eyes

[00:41.29] See the world from where I stand

[00:44.74] Me among the mighty

[00:47.41] You caged at my command

[00:52.45] Open up your eyes

[00:56.72] Give up your sweet fantasyland

[01:00.18] It's time to grow up and get wise

[01:04.16] Come now little one

[01:06.83] Open up your eyes

[01:13.19] We all start out the same

[01:16.13] With simple naive trust

[01:20.38] Shielded from the many ways

[01:23.84] That life's not fair or just

[01:27.81] But then there comes a moment

[01:31.01] A simple truth that you must face

[01:34.98] If you depend on others

[01:38.71] You'll never find your place

[02:08.50] And as you take that first step

[02:11.42] Upon a path that's all your own

[02:15.14] You see it all so clearly

[02:19.13] The best way to survive is all alone

[02:26.57] Open up your eyes

[02:30.55] And see the world from where I stand

[02:34.00] Me among the mighty

[02:36.41] You caged at my command

[02:41.47] Open up your eyes

[02:45.97] And behold the fading light

[02:49.69] It's time to grow up and get wise

[02:53.40] Come now little one

[02:55.81] Open up your eyes

[03:03.50] Open up your eyes
