Sound the Battle Cry!

[00:00.71] Sound the battle cry!

[00:03.10] See, the foe is nigh;

[00:05.27] Raise the standard high

[00:07.66] For the Lord;

[00:09.79] Gird your armor on,

[00:12.18] Stand firm, every one;

[00:14.30] Rest your cause upon

[00:16.40] His holy Word.

[00:18.80] Rouse, then, soldiers, rally round the banner,

[00:23.05] Ready, steady, pass the word along;

[00:27.56] Onward, forward, shout aloud, Hosanna!

[00:32.08] Christ is Captain of the mighty throng.

[00:37.66] Strong to meet the foe,

[00:40.05] Marching on we go,

[00:42.18] While our cause we know,

[00:44.30] Must prevail;

[00:46.69] Shield and banner bright,

[00:48.82] Gleaming in the light;

[00:50.94] Battling for the right

[00:53.33] We ne’er can fail.

[00:55.45] Rouse, then, soldiers, rally round the banner,

[00:59.97] Ready, steady, pass the word along;

[01:04.49] Onward, forward, shout aloud, Hosanna!

[01:08.74] Christ is Captain of the mighty throng.

[01:14.32] O Thou God of all,

[01:16.71] Hear us when we call,

[01:18.83] Help us one and all

[01:21.22] By Thy grace;

[01:23.34] When the battle’s done,

[01:25.47] And the victory’s won,

[01:27.86] May we wear the crown

[01:29.99] Before Thy face.

[01:32.10] Rouse, then, soldiers, rally round the banner,

[01:36.61] Ready, steady, pass the word along;

[01:41.11] Onward, forward, shout aloud, Hosanna!

[01:45.61] Christ is Captain of the mighty throng.

[01:55.44] AMEN!
