Blessing

[00:17.60] We pray for blessings, we pray for peace

[00:25.35] Comfort for family, protection while we sleep

[00:40.35] We pray for healing, for prosperity

[00:41.60] We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering

[00:50.10] And all the while, You hear each spoken need

[00:58.11] Yet love us way too much to give us lesser things

[01:05.60] 'Cause what if Your blessings come through rain drops

[01:09.59] What if Your healing comes through tears

[01:13.60] What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near

[01:22.85] What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise

[01:40.09] We pray for wisdom, Your voice to hear

[01:47.88] We cry in anger when we cannot feel You near

[01:56.88] We doubt your goodness, we doubt your love

[02:04.62] As if every promise from Your word is not enough

[02:12.63] And all the while, You hear each desperate plea

[02:20.89] And long that we'd have faith to believe

[02:28.12] 'Cause what if Your blessings come through rain drops

[02:32.39] What if Your healing comes through tears

[02:37.12] What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near

[02:46.90] What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise

[02:58.88] When friends betray us

[03:02.88] When darkness seems to win

[03:06.13] We know that pain reminds this heart

[03:10.38] That this is not

[03:12.65] This is not our home

[03:21.63] It's not our home

[03:34.37] 'Cause what if Your blessings come through rain drops

[03:38.89] What if Your healing comes through tears

[03:43.38] What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near

[03:52.38] What if my greatest disappointments or the aching of this life

[03:59.63] Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can't satisfy

[04:09.62] What if trials of this life

[04:14.89] The rain, the storms, the hardest nights

[04:19.88] Are Your mercies in disguise
