exist
[07:25.46] Our truth is painted across the sky
[07:32.65] In our reflection, we learn to fly
[07:40.08] No hand to hold us
[07:43.79] No one to save us from tomorrow
[07:58.13] Sailing away, beyond the reach of anyone
[08:05.57] Far beyond the dreams of everyone
[08:14.59] No light to follow
[08:18.05] A shot in the dark
[08:22.04] Does anybody know?
[08:27.62] Sailing away, beyond the reach of anyone
[08:35.06] Far beyond the dreams of everyone
[08:44.08] High from the heavens
[08:47.55] I can't see the pain
[08:51.52] Does anybody care?
[09:01.35] Think for a moment of all the lives
[09:08.79] Stripped of their essence before their time
[09:16.23] We stand to conquer
[09:19.67] But is there nothing left tomorrow?
[09:34.01] I'm sailing away, beyond the reach of anyone
[09:41.44] Far beyond the dreams of everyone
[09:50.49] There's no light to follow
[09:53.95] A shot in the dark
[09:57.95] Does anybody know?
[10:03.77] Sailing away, beyond the reach of anyone
[10:11.21] Far beyond the dreams of everyone
[10:20.22] High from the heavens
[10:23.43] I can't see the pain
[10:27.67] Does anybody care?
[12:08.59] We have one collective hope: The Earth
[12:13.37] And yet uncounted people remain hopeless
[12:17.37] Famine and calamity abound
[12:20.03] Sufferers hurl themselves into the arms of war
[12:23.75] People kill and get killed in the name of someone else's concept of God
[12:30.92] Dare we admit that our thoughts and behaviors spring from a belief that the world revolves around us?
[12:40.47] Each fabricated conflict, self-murdering bomb, vanished airplane
[12:45.51] Every fictionalized dictator, biased partisan and wayward son
[12:52.42] Are part of the curtains of society's racial, ethnic, religious, national and cultural conflicts
[13:00.41] And you find the human ego turning the knobs and pulling the levers
[13:09.42] When I track the orbits of asteroids, comets, and planets
[13:13.94] Each one a pirouetting dancer in a cosmic ballet, choreographed by the forces of gravity
[13:21.11] I see beyond the plight of humans. I see a universe ever-expanding
[13:26.43] With its galaxies embedded within the ever-stretching, four-dimensional fabric of space and time
[13:33.59] However big our world is — in our hearts, our minds, in our out-sized atlases?
[13:42.37] The universe is even bigger
[13:46.09] There are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on the world's beaches
[13:54.33] More stars in the universe than seconds of time that have passed since Earth formed
[14:01.23] More stars than words and sounds ever uttered by all humans who have ever lived
[14:10.52] The day we cease the exploration of the cosmos is the day we threaten the continuance of our species
[14:19.28] In that bleak world, arms-bearing, resource-hungry people and nations
[14:25.40] Would be prone to act on their low contracted prejudices
[14:30.72] And would have seen the last gasp of human enlightenment —
[14:35.22] Until the rise of a visionary new culture that once again embraces the cosmic perspective
[14:42.13] A perspective in which we are one, fitting neither above, nor below, but within
