It will not be late (2023 Convention Song)

[00:17.78] 1.Beauty fills the earth, wonder fills our mind—

[00:25.75] The work of your hands so patiently designed.

[00:32.92] Though the world may change, you remain the same.

[00:40.36] You patiently wait to make it new again.

[00:48.61] (CHORUS)

[00:49.66] Father, we long to see Paradise come to be.

[00:57.36] Give us the patience to wait.

[01:04.00] We know your day will come, sure as the rising sun.

[01:11.70] No matter how long it takes,

[01:18.92] “It will not be late!”

[01:29.02] 2.Faithfully we wait for the dead to rise.

[01:36.72] Jehovah, you yearn to bring them back to life.

[01:43.90] Father, we well know how you loved them so.

[01:51.61] Instill in our hearts the patience you have shown.

[01:59.83] (CHORUS)

[02:00.63] Father, we long to see Paradise come to be.

[02:08.35] Give us the patience to wait.

[02:14.99] We know your day will come, sure as the rising sun.

[02:23.25] No matter how long it takes,

[02:30.16] “It will not be late!”

[02:39.70] 3.Patiently you search; honest hearts you find.

[02:47.70] You heal them with hope and long to give them life.

[02:55.41] Working by your side, sharing what is true,

[03:02.86] We use our time well. It draws us close to you.

[03:10.84] (CHORUS)

[03:11.89] Father, we long to see Paradise come to be.

[03:20.13] Give us the patience to wait.

[03:26.77] We know your day will come, sure as the rising sun.

[03:35.27] No matter how long it takes,

[03:42.71] “It will not be late!”

[03:52.56] Father, please help us to wait!
