The Moon Rises
[00:16.02] Now the hour has come at last
[00:18.70] The soft and fading light
[00:21.60] Has crossed the west horizon
[00:24.54] and has bidden us goodnight
[00:27.45] and what a lovely night it is
[00:30.64] to walk a moonlit field
[00:33.30] to see the softest shades
[00:35.96] Thar are by starlight now revealed
[00:39.43] So why is it that now
[00:42.08] when all is quiet and at rest
[00:45.27] When candles glow and all the world
[00:48.45] Is at its very best
[00:50.85] The ponies of Equestria should
[00:54.57] lock themselves away
[00:57.22] to shun the moon and wait instead
[01:00.14] for sister's sunny day
[01:13.37] Am I so wrong to wish that they would
[01:16.55] see things like I do?
[01:19.52] Am I so wrong to think that
[01:22.42] they might love me too?
[01:25.12] Why shouldn't they adore me?
[01:28.04] Is it not within my right?
[01:30.96] I'll not be overshadowed
[01:33.63] Mine is not the lesser light
[01:36.92] I've waited long enough now
[01:39.62] for them all to come around
[01:42.54] And though the sun may plead and threaten,
[01:45.31] the moon will stand her ground!
[02:00.91] It comes to this at last
[02:03.30] I will no longer yield the sky
[02:05.78] If they cannot love but one princess alone
[02:11.89] See the moon is rising
[02:16.40] she has come to claim the heavens
[02:19.85] for her own
[02:23.27] And thou will know the wonders
[02:26.13] of my dark and jeweled sky
[02:29.07] When all the world is wrapped in
[02:31.99] an eternal lullaby
[02:34.91] So say goodnight, to this,
[02:37.57] the final setting of the sun
[02:41.02] Tomorrow dawns and darkness
[02:43.94] The night-time has
[02:47.13] BEGUN!!
