Martin
[00:00.38] I say to you this morning
[00:02.77] That if you have never found something so dear and so precious to you
[00:09.40] That you will die for it, then you aren't fit to live
[00:14.71] You may be 38 years old as I happen to be
[00:21.36] And one day, some great opportunity stands before you
[00:26.14] And calls upon you to stand up for some great principle
[00:29.86] Some great issue, some great cause
[00:35.45] And you refuse to do it because you are afraid
[00:43.68] You refuse to do it because you wanna live longer
[00:49.56] You're afraid that you will lose your job
[00:52.20] Or you're afraid that you will be criticized
[00:55.39] Or that you will lose your popularity
[00:58.32] Or you're afraid that somebody will stab you or shoot at you or bomb your house
[01:03.89] And so you refuse to take the stand
[01:07.34] Well, you may go on and live until you are 90
[01:13.71] But you're just as dead at 38 as you would be at 90
[01:21.15] And the sensation of breathing in your life is but
[01:25.14] The belated announcement of an earlier death of the spirit
[01:30.19] You died when you refused to stand up for right
[01:34.71] You died when you refused to stand up for truth
[01:40.03] You died when you refused to stand up for justice
