[00:16.08] Jackie: So, actually we’re not really doing that, are we?
[00:18.73] Richard: No [Jackie laughs] put it in the washing machine and then but then, drying.
[00:23.25] Jackie: Yes, we don’t have a tumble dryer so…
[00:25.64] Richard: We have to hang the laundry out.

[00:28.83] Richard: Um… and then [laughs] ironing.
[00:32.01] Jackie: Well, we have an ironing board and we have an iron but in fact, Richard, neither of us do the ironing, do we?
[00:41.84] Richard: No, now I don’t have an office job I don’t need to iron my shirts.
[00:46.62] Jackie: Yes. Er… and another rather boring chore, Richard, is that’s the dusting, isn’t it?
[00:54.86] Richard: Yes, I don’t like the dusting.
[00:56.45] Jackie: We have a nice feather duster.
[00:58.31] [both laugh] It’s just a bit boring.

[01:03.09] Richard: Yes, you do the dusting and I do the hoovering.
[01:06.81] Jackie: Yes, I don’t know why I don’t like the hoovering.
[01:09.20] I think it’s because of the noise.
[01:11.06] Richard: It’s very, very noisy.

[01:15.58] And the other thing I don’t really mind doing too much is the washing-up.
[01:20.36] As you do all the cooking I feel I have to do the washing-up.
[01:24.61] Jackie: Yes, we um… we don’t have a dishwasher, do we?
[01:27.80] Richard: No dishwasher.
[01:28.86] Jackie: So you… you do it all by hand.
[01:30.98] Richard: Exactly
[01:31.78] Jackie: But that’s not too bad.
[01:33.11] Richard: No, not at all.
[01:35.23] I don’t find it too bad, after a good meal.
[01:36.56] Jackie: [laughs] And then there actually… there are some things we have to do every day, some chores that we have to do every day, but actually are quite nice.
[01:47.45] Richard: [laughs] With our animals.
[01:49.31] Jackie: Yes, one of those is taking the dog for a walk.
[01:52.23] Richard: I take the dog for a walk, er… well actually the dog takes me for a walk, um… and often I just throw the ball just to make sure she gets lots of exercise.
[02:04.45] Jackie: But you do that quite a few times during the day.
[02:06.84] Richard. Yes, two or three times a day.
[02:08.70] Jackie: Mmm, and the thing that I do um… usually, and that’s feeding the chickens.
[02:14.55] Richard: [laughs] Yes, I do that occasionally as well.
[02:18.26] So, those are our daily chores and I think, Jackie, it’s your turn to get out and feed those chickens.
