[00:00.62] Elphie

[00:01.69] Now that we're friends, I've decided to make you my new project

[00:05.41] Oh, you really don't have to do that

[00:07.00] I know!

[00:08.87] That's what makes me so nice

[00:12.32] Whenever I see someone less fortunate than I

[00:16.83] And let's face it, right? Who isn't less fortunate than I?

[00:22.15] My tender heart tends to start to bleed

[00:26.13] And when someone needs a makeover, I simply have to take over

[00:29.58] I know, I know exactly what they need

[00:38.08] And even in your case

[00:42.07] Though it's the toughest case I've yet to face

[00:47.91] Don't worry, I'm determined to succeed

[00:52.70] Follow my lead

[00:56.68] And yes, indeed

[01:00.66] You will be, ah

[01:06.50] Popular

[01:08.36] You're gonna be popular

[01:10.75] I'll teach you the proper ploys when you talk to boys

[01:14.48] Little ways to flirt and flounce, ooh!

[01:17.13] I'll show you what shoes to wear, how to fix your hair

[01:19.51] Everything that really counts to be popular

[01:24.30] I'll help you be popular

[01:27.23] You'll hang with the right cohorts, you'll be good at sports

[01:30.41] Know the slang you've got to know

[01:33.33] So let's start 'cause you've got an awfully long way to go

[01:41.83] Don't be offended by my frank analysis

[01:44.22] Think of it as personality dialysis

[01:46.88] Now that I've chosen to become a pal

[01:49.54] A sister and adviser, there's nobody wiser

[01:52.19] Not when it comes to

[01:53.79] Popular

[01:55.64] I know about popular

[01:58.04] And with an assist from me to be who you'll be

[02:01.49] Instead of dreary who-you-were

[02:03.87] Well, are!

[02:04.68] There's nothing that can stop you from becoming populer… —lar!

[02:09.72] La-la, la-la

[02:15.83] We're gonna make you popular

[02:21.14] When I see depressing creatures

[02:23.80] With unprepossessing features

[02:26.72] I remind them on their own behalf to think of

[02:32.04] Celebrated heads of state

[02:34.69] Or especially great communicators

[02:37.35] Did they have brains or knowledge?

[02:40.27] Don't make me laugh

[02:41.87] They were

[02:42.93] Popular

[02:43.99] Right!

[02:45.05] It's all about popular

[02:47.18] It's not about aptitude, it's the way you're viewed

[02:50.36] So it's very shrewd to be

[02:53.28] Very, very popular like me, me

[03:02.32] And though you protest

[03:05.77] Your disinterest

[03:10.28] I know clandestinely

[03:18.52] You're gonna grin and bear it, your newfound popularity (Woo!)

[03:24.10] La-la, la-la

[03:29.05] La-la, la-la

[03:34.10] La-la, ooh

[03:42.43] You'll be popular

[03:45.34] Just not quite as popular as me
