[00:00.43] Bowel cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the UK, and experts believe poor diet is behind half of all cases.
[00:07.34] Researchers at Oxford University, funded by Cancer Research UK, looked at data from more than half a million UK women over more than 16 years.
[00:16.63] It found that those with an extra 300 milligrams of calcium in their diets, equivalent to a large glass of milk a day, had a 17% lower risk of bowel cancer.
