it’s more important to be nice

[00:14.35] I’ve seen the bright lights, I’ve chased the fame

[00:20.19] Built up a name, played the power game

[00:23.10] But in the silence when the crowd is gone

[00:28.16] I hear a whisper, like a gentle song

[00:32.16] It’s not the titles, not the gold

[00:36.14] Not the stories we are told

[00:40.39] It’s the kindness that you show

[00:43.84] That truly makes you glow

[00:48.62] It’s nice to be important

[00:51.55] But it’s more important to be nice

[00:56.59] In a world that moves so fast

[00:59.25] Be the calm, be the light

[01:04.04] You don’t need a crown

[01:07.75] To lift someone who’s down

[01:12.26] Yeah, it’s nice to be important

[01:15.44] But it’s more important to be nice

[01:21.83] A little smile can change a day

[01:26.08] A little love can lead the way

[01:30.06] You never know what someone hides

[01:34.05] So be the peace they hope to find

[01:38.30] When the lights fade and the curtains close

[01:46.26] It’s the hearts you’ve touched that matter most

[01:52.90] It’s nice to be important

[01:55.56] But it’s more important to be nice

[02:00.61] In a world that moves so fast

[02:03.27] Be the calm, be the light

[02:07.78] You don’t need a crown

[02:11.49] To lift someone who’s down

[02:16.02] Yeah, it’s nice to be important

[02:19.46] But it’s more important to be nice

[02:44.20] Be the voice, be the grace

[02:48.17] Leave a mark, not just a place

[02:51.89] It’s nice to be important

[02:54.02] But it’s more important to be nice
