EPIC MUSICAL THE CHALLENGE

[00:03.57] Song by

[00:05.46] Cast of EPIC: The Musical, Jorge Rivera-Herrans, Anna Lea

[00:15.41] I'm supposed to choose a suitor to wear the crown

[00:22.85] I said I would choose as soon as I weave this shroud

[00:29.24] They don't know that every night

[00:35.07] I unthread all the work I've done

[00:39.05] 'Cause I'd rather lie

[00:42.77] Than allow them to think they've won

[00:45.43] Though I never thought that I'd resort to this

[00:51.28] Just know I'll be here

[00:55.53] But I don't know how much longer I'll last since we saw that storm

[01:01.64] And though it was so close to our kingdom, it was far from the norm, unless

[01:10.13] Oh, could it be some kinda sign

[01:15.71] That my world is all about to change?

[01:19.42] Is it finally time for the challenge I arranged?

[01:25.54] Though I never thought that it would come to this

[01:32.19] Just know I'll be here buying you time

[01:37.12] Time is fleeting, it's running out

[01:39.88] Time to be the man of the house (oh, buying you time)

[01:44.21] Time is fleeting, it's running out

[01:47.22] Time to be the man of the house

[01:51.04] Whoever can string my husband's old bow

[01:55.28] And shoot through 12 axes cleanly

[01:58.67] Will be the new king, sit down at the throne

[02:02.66] And rule with me as his queen

[02:08.50] Let the arrow fly

[02:13.03] Once you know that your aim is true

[02:15.94] 'Cause I'd rather die

[02:20.19] Than grow old without the best of you

[02:22.85] Though I never thought that these would be the lengths we go for love

[02:29.74] I would not have it any other way

[02:36.39] And though I never thought that it would end like this

[02:44.09] Just know I'll be here

[02:49.67] Waiting, waiting

[02:56.31] (Penelope) waiting, waiting

[03:01.62] (Penelope) waiting, waiting

[03:08.25] Oh
