The Assumption Song

[00:00.40] There was an old farmer

[00:03.06] Who lived on a rock

[00:05.19] He sat in the meadow

[00:06.78] Just shaking his

[00:08.37] Fist at some boys

[00:09.43] Who were down by the crick

[00:11.82] Their feet in the water

[00:13.68] Their hands on their

[00:15.01] Marbles and playthings

[00:16.61] And at half past four

[00:18.46] There came a young lady

[00:20.32] She looked like a

[00:21.92] Pretty young creature

[00:23.25] She sat on the grass

[00:25.37] She pulled up her dress

[00:26.96] And she showed them her

[00:28.56] Ruffles and laces

[00:30.15] And white fluffy duck

[00:32.01] She said she was learning

[00:33.86] A new way to

[00:35.46] Bring up her children

[00:37.05] So they would not spit

[00:38.92] While the boys in the barnyard

[00:41.04] Were shoveling

[00:42.36] Refuse and litter

[00:43.96] From yesterday's hunt

[00:45.82] While the girl in the meadow

[00:47.69] Was rubbing her

[00:49.00] Eyes at the fellow

[00:50.60] Down by the dock

[00:52.73] He looked like a man

[00:54.33] With a sizable

[00:55.39] Home in the country

[00:57.50] With a big fence out front

[00:59.37] And if he asked her politely

[01:01.23] She'd show him her

[01:02.55] Little pet dog

[01:04.15] Who was subject to fits

[01:06.02] And maybe she'd let him

[01:08.13] Grab hold of her

[01:09.47] Small tender hand

[01:10.80] With a movement so quick

[01:12.92] And then she'd bend over

[01:14.77] And suck on his

[01:16.37] Candy, so tasty

[01:17.70] Made of butterscotch

[01:19.82] And then he'd spread whipped cream

[01:21.95] All over her

[01:23.01] Cookies that she had

[01:24.87] Left out on her shelf

[01:26.72] If you think this is dirty

[01:28.58] You can go f-- yourself!
