17 - The Teacher
[00:00.40] "So Jesus and the twelve
[00:01.10] Traveled all over Galilee
[00:02.95] Not just preaching
[00:04.81] To the people
[00:05.34] But teaching the people
[00:07.14] And the crowds followed Him
[00:08.45] Because He talked
[00:09.24] With authority
[00:09.93] Like no one
[00:11.00] They had ever heard before"
[00:12.87] A Teacher came into the city
[00:20.56] And Galilee was eager to hear
[00:24.27] What the Teacher said
[00:26.66] Turned the people's heads
[00:28.53] And set the city right on it's ear
[00:31.71] He was holdin' class on a mountain
[00:35.71] The class was intent
[00:37.83] On His word
[00:39.97] The lesson on the mount
[00:41.74] Was how to live
[00:42.55] And make it count
[00:43.60] They listened
[00:44.67] And here's what they heard
[00:47.33] Blessed are
[00:48.92] The poor in spirit
[00:51.03] That's right
[00:51.83] They will have
[00:52.64] The Kingdom of God
[00:54.49] Blessed are they that mourn
[00:57.41] Their shackles will be torn
[00:59.01] And those who bear
[01:00.08] The cross of right
[01:01.13] Will have reward
[01:02.73] "Blessed are the meek"
[01:04.85] Said the Teacher
[01:05.84] Yes, they will
[01:07.97] Inherit the earth
[01:09.84] Those who hunger
[01:11.68] For the right
[01:12.48] Will appease
[01:13.53] Their appetite
[01:14.34] Their cup will be filled
[01:16.20] To quench their thirst
[01:18.32] The Teacher was someone
[01:22.33] Like no one
[01:23.64] That they'd seen before
[01:26.04] The Teacher
[01:27.63] Had somethin' about Him
[01:29.49] They couldn't ignore
[01:32.15] The merciful
[01:35.07] Will know of God's mercy
[01:37.73] The pure in heart
[01:39.33] Will see the heart of God
[01:40.56] Yeah, they will
[01:41.89] And He went on to teach
[01:43.77] The makers of the peace
[01:45.36] Will be called
[01:46.95] The children of God
[01:49.08] "Blessed are you"
[01:51.47] Said the Teacher
[01:53.33] When men
[01:54.13] Persecute you and lie
[01:56.52] Though it's hard to take
[01:59.17] If it's for My sake
[02:01.30] You will have reward
[02:02.89] By and by
[02:04.75] The Teacher was someone
[02:08.46] Like no one
[02:10.32] That they'd seen before
[02:12.73] The Teacher
[02:14.05] Had somethin' about Him
[02:16.18] They couldn't ignore
[02:19.37] The Teacher was
[02:22.02] A man called Jesus
[02:24.66] He came to save us from sin
[02:28.41] When you hear Him speak
[02:30.53] And turn the other cheek
[02:32.40] That's an apple
[02:33.18] For the Teacher of men
[02:36.13] That's an apple
[02:37.19] For the Teacher of men
[02:39.86] ♫
