King of Kings
[00:28.58] VERSE 1
[00:28.82] In the darkness we were waiting
[00:00.00] Without hope without light
[00:00.00] Till from heaven You came running
[00:00.00] There was mercy in Your eyes
[00:00.00] To fulfil the law and prophets
[00:00.00] To a virgin came the Word
[00:00.00] From a throne of endless glory
[00:00.00] To a cradle in the dirt
[00:00.00] CHORUS
[00:00.00] Praise the Father
[00:00.00] Praise the Son
[00:00.00] Praise the Spirit three in one
[00:00.00] God of glory
[00:00.00] Majesty
[00:00.00] Praise forever to the King of Kings
[00:00.00] VERSE 2
[00:00.00] To reveal the kingdom coming
[00:00.00] And to reconcile the lost
[00:00.00] To redeem the whole creation
[00:00.00] You did not despise the cross
[00:00.00] For even in Your suffering
[00:00.00] You saw to the other side
[00:00.00] Knowing this was our salvation
[00:00.00] Jesus for our sake You died
[00:00.00] VERSE 3
[00:00.00] And the morning that You rose
[00:00.00] All of heaven held its breath
[00:00.00] Till that stone was moved for good
[00:00.00] For the Lamb had conquered death
[00:00.00] And the dead rose from their tombs
[00:00.00] And the angels stood in awe
[00:00.00] For the souls of all who’d come
[00:00.00] To the Father are restored
[00:00.00] VERSE 4
[00:00.00] And the Church of Christ was born
[00:00.00] Then the Spirit lit the flame
[00:00.00] Now this gospel truth of old
[00:00.00] Shall not kneel shall not faint
[00:00.00] By His blood and in His Name
[00:00.00] In His freedom I am free
[00:00.00] For the love of Jesus Christ
[00:00.00] Who has resurrected me
