[00:13.22] You can hear the songbirds singing,

[00:17.21] And you watch the clouds roll by.

[00:21.20] Then you’re walking in the valley

[00:25.49] As the sun shines in a clear blue sky.

[00:29.70] You’re welcoming your loved ones,

[00:33.50] And you can’t believe your eyes.

[00:37.70] Yes, this earthly Paradise

[00:41.45] Was just around the corner.

[00:49.72] There’s a house down in the valley

[00:53.71] And a house high on the hill.

[00:57.45] There is singing by the river

[01:01.70] As the water flows and turns the mill.

[01:05.45] The golden fields are waiting.

[01:09.45] Let the harvesting begin.

[01:13.21] Once the world we’re living in

[01:17.70] Was just around the corner.

[01:21.45] It’s great to share with friends who care

[01:26.21] The things that we looked forward to.

[01:29.46] Now ev’ry tear has disappeared.

[01:33.70] The world is young, and life is new.

[01:36.70] There’s the sound of happy voices

[01:41.45] And the scent of new mown hay.

[01:45.45] Now you’re calling to your loved ones

[01:49.46] As you start another perfect day.

[01:53.46] Then we thank our God, Jehovah,

[01:58.47] For his tender loving care.

[02:01.21] Yes, the blessings we all share

[02:05.45] Were just around the corner.

[02:09.46] And evʹry day I smile and say,

[02:13.45] “How good to see your happy face!”

[02:17.95] ʹCause once, it seemed, I only dreamed

[02:21.21] That you’d be in my warm embrace.

[02:25.95] Waiting ʹround the corner

[02:28.96] Is a world I long to see.

[02:33.20] It’s a promise from Jehovah.

[02:37.46] It’s a guaranteed reality.

[02:41.45] And it’s hard to get downhearted

[02:45.46] When I think of what’s in store.

[02:49.46] It’s the day I’m waiting for,

[02:53.70] And it’s just around the corner.
