My woeful herte
[00:04.38] My woeful herte of all gladness barryain
[00:25.39] enforceth me this complaint for to make,
[00:47.64] which I have sung with weeping eyen twain.
[01:11.39] Full oft ere this, I shall undertake.
[01:33.04] -
[01:53.02] Till good tidings come my sore to slake
[02:03.03] I must obey fortunes ordinance,
[02:18.54] for yet I am all drowned in the lake
[02:36.29] of sorful joy and paineful pleasance.
[02:54.52] -
[03:15.77] For she which is of all goodly the best
[03:38.77] to mine entent, and so saith mo'than I,
[04:00.04] is fall but late out of her kindly rest
[04:25.54] into great sickness which holdeth her grievously.
[04:45.54] -
[05:06.79] Now I pray God, and that right heartily
[05:17.80] that she be voided out of the great grievance.
[05:32.80] For till she amend I shall have nought truly
[05:50.30] but sorful joy and painful pleasance.
