Blessings

[00:06.90] We pray for blessings,

[00:20.16] We pray for peace

[00:23.90] Comfort for family, protection while we sleep

[00:32.15] We pray for healing, for prosperity

[00:40.30] We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering

[00:48.55] And all the while, You hear each spoken need

[00:56.79] Yet love us way too much to give us lesser things

[01:04.05] 'Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops

[01:09.04] What if Your healing comes through tears

[01:12.79] What if a thousand sleepless nights

[01:16.93] are what it takes to know You're near

[01:22.68] What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise

[01:37.43] We pray for wisdom, Your voice to hear

[01:46.68] We cry in anger when we cannot feel You near

[01:54.92] We doubt Your goodness, we doubt Your love

[02:02.94] As if every promise from Your word is not enough

[02:10.94] And all the while, You hear each desperate plea

[02:19.43] And long that we'd have faith to believe

[02:26.68] 'Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops

[02:31.68] What if Your healing comes through tears

[02:35.69] What if a thousand sleepless nights

[02:39.43] are what it takes to know You're near

[02:45.18] What if trials of this life

[02:50.18] are Your mercies in disguise

[02:57.43] When friends betray us

[03:01.18] When darkness seems to win

[03:04.93] We know the pain reminds this heart

[03:09.59] That this is not

[03:11.58] This is not our home

[03:19.84] It's not our home

[03:30.84] 'Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops

[03:37.85] What if Your healing comes through tears

[03:41.84] And what if a thousand sleepless nights

[03:45.84] are what it takes to know You're near

[03:50.09] What if my greatest disappointments

[03:54.84] or the aching of this life

[03:58.59] Is the revealing of a greater thirst

[04:03.34] this world can't satisfy

[04:07.84] And what if trials of this life-

[04:13.09] The rain, the storms, the hardest nights

[04:17.24] Are Your mercies in disguise
