Important Things

[00:17.89] 1. Ev’ry day brings decisions, and we must choose

[00:28.92] How will we spend our time and live for the truth.

[00:36.13] Now, there’s a time to laugh and be with our friends,

[00:41.16] But it can’t be all we’re living for in the end.

[00:45.66] (CHORUS)

[00:47.67] We need to set time aside for what’s most important—

[00:53.90] Prayer, study, and godly devotion.

[00:58.43] Make Jehovah real, ’cause that’s really what matters.

[01:07.68] Throw off those things pulling us down.

[01:12.39] Think about the future and where we are now.

[01:16.91] Let nothing take the place of more important things.

[01:30.66] 2. Life sure can weigh us down with bills to pay.

[01:39.88] It can make us lose sight and misplace our faith.

[01:48.91] But our fam’ly needs us back at home.

[01:53.41] And if we want to be there to help and watch them grow—

[01:59.16] (CHORUS)

[02:00.66] We need to set time aside for what’s most important—

[02:06.66] Prayer, study, and godly devotion.

[02:11.18] Make Jehovah real, ’cause that’s really what matters.

[02:20.41] Throw off those things pulling us down.

[02:24.66] Think about the future and where we are now.

[02:29.40] Let nothing take the place of more important things.

[02:39.39] (CHORUS)

[02:54.67] We need to set time aside for what’s most important—

[02:59.66] Prayer, study, and godly devotion.

[03:08.92] Make Jehovah real, ’cause that’s really what matters.

[03:13.65] Throw off those things pulling us down.

[03:18.15] Think about the future and where we are now.

[03:25.89] Let nothing take the place of more important things.
