Your word endures forever

[00:20.62] 1. They looked up at the stars

[00:25.13] With godly fear in their hearts.

[00:30.10] They thanked their God up above

[00:35.65] For revealing to them his love.

[00:40.87] So you gave them your name,

[00:45.64] A Kingdom hope to proclaim.

[00:50.61] They’re words preserved for our day.

[00:55.12] They’re faithful words to show us the way.

[01:01.12] They loved you from their heart,

[01:05.89] And they were proud to play their part—

[01:11.63] Approved by you to preserve your Word,

[01:16.65] Wrote it down so you would be heard.

[01:19.38] (CHORUS)

[01:21.14] Your Word endures forever,

[01:26.86] And your sayings are, oh, so deep.

[01:31.64] The good news you declare is a breath of fresh air,

[01:37.14] And your sayings I just want to keep.

[01:44.60] 2. Oh, whatever your enemies tried,

[01:49.89] They could not silence you.

[01:55.14] Your loyal ones who loved your Word

[01:59.88] Kept their faith, integrity too.

[02:04.86] And when they tried to ban their Bibles,

[02:09.87] They were prepared to give their lives.

[02:15.15] For so strong was their faith and the witness they gave,

[02:20.39] Not one of your words was erased.

[02:24.39] (CHORUS)

[02:25.13] And so your Word endures forever,

[02:30.62] And your sayings are, oh, so deep.

[02:35.61] The good news you declare is a breath of fresh air,

[02:40.89] And your sayings I just want to keep.

[02:45.89] 3. And you told us your name is Jehovah.

[02:51.64] In your Word it’s plain to see.

[02:56.12] So your name will endure,

[02:58.64] All your words will come true,

[03:01.12] And we’ll praise you all of our days.

[03:07.64] (CHORUS)

[03:08.64] So your Word endures forever,

[03:13.86] And your sayings are, oh, so deep.

[03:19.12] The good news you declare is a breath of fresh air,

[03:24.38] And your sayings I just want to keep,

[03:31.87] All of my days.
