Steve
[00:00.63] I know the Bible isn't perfect
[00:02.62] 'Cause it left one person out
[00:04.89] There was Adam, there was Eve
[00:06.63] And there was someone else around
[00:08.89] Yeah, I think his name was Steve
[00:11.86] And he was passing through town
[00:17.40] When he heard a snake a-whispering
[00:19.63] To Adam in the garden
[00:22.12] "Take the fruit, it's good for you"
[00:24.12] Steve said, "I beg your pardon
[00:26.14] I know it's not my business
[00:28.63] But will you just hear me out?"
[00:34.13] He said, "I wouldn't lie
[00:36.63] You should not go to that tree
[00:38.88] The serpent knows the apple grows from a forbidden seed
[00:42.37] Oh, you want what you can't have
[00:44.61] But you've got all the things you need"
[00:47.36] There was Adam, there was Eve, and there was Steve
[00:51.40] He said, "Adam, don't be fooled by the snake
[00:58.37] Don't risk it all for a taste
[01:00.62] Oh, what a waste
[01:03.89] To have everything and give it all away"
[01:08.64] Adam looked around and as he wrestled with his fate
[01:12.88] Steve and Eve rolled up their sleeves to wrestle with that snake
[01:16.88] In the midst of all the chaos
[01:19.61] Steve was still screaming out
[01:25.63] He said, "I wouldn't lie
[01:27.61] You should not go to that tree
[01:29.88] The serpent knows the apple grows from a forbidden seed
[01:33.64] Oh, you want what you can't have
[01:35.62] But you've got all the things you need"
[01:38.36] There was Adam, there was Eve, and there was Steve
[01:42.36] He said, "Adam, don't be fooled by the snake
[01:49.37] Don't risk it all for a taste
[01:51.62] Oh, what a waste
[01:54.87] To have everything and give it all away"
[01:59.60] Sometimes I feel like Adam
[02:01.62] 'Cause I've got more than I need
[02:03.88] But even when I have it all
[02:06.13] I want what's out of reach
[02:07.64] Maybe I should learn my lesson
[02:10.63] Like Steve was talkin' to me
[02:16.88] He said, "I wouldn't lie
[02:19.36] You should not go to that tree
[02:20.89] The serpent knows the apple grows from a forbidden seed
[02:24.62] Oh, you want what you can't have
[02:26.88] But you've got all the things you need"
[02:29.11] There was Adam, there was Eve, and there was Steve
[02:33.61] He said, "Adam, don't be fooled by the snake
[02:40.14] Don't risk it all for a taste
[02:42.62] Oh, what a waste
[02:45.88] To have everything and give it all away"
