About The Cross

[00:14.38] If I only had song that I could sing you

[00:21.88] or a story I could tell before I leave

[00:29.63] If I only had one message I could bring you

[00:37.13] There's no question it would be

[00:43.88] About the cross

[00:47.63] About the blood

[00:51.62] About the place I found

[00:56.13] God's mercy and love

[01:00.12] And although it's bittersweet

[01:03.87] Remembering the cost

[01:08.88] There's something beautiful

[01:12.64] About the cross

[01:28.63] I could sing about this state of grace I live in

[01:36.38] Or the peace and joy I have when times are tough

[01:43.88] I could sing of all the blessings I've been given

[01:51.38] But in the end my life is just

[01:58.39] About the cross

[02:01.87] About the blood

[02:05.89] About the place I found

[02:10.63] God's mercy and love

[02:14.38] And although it's bittersweet

[02:18.63] Remembering the cost

[02:22.89] There's something beautiful

[02:26.56] About the cross

[02:31.79] Two thousand years ago

[02:35.30] If I had watched Him die

[02:39.29] I think I would have lost all hope

[02:43.04] Demanding to know why

[02:47.06] But now I know the cross means everything

[02:54.56] And it's the greatest honor to sing

[03:01.30] About the cross

[03:05.29] About the blood

[03:09.29] About the place I found

[03:13.79] God's mercy and love

[03:17.81] And although it's bittersweet

[03:21.54] Remembering the cost

[03:26.56] There's something beautiful

[03:30.30] About the cross

[03:34.30] So I'll cherish the old rugged cross.

[03:42.04] Till my trophies at last I lay down.

[03:49.81] I will cling to the old rugged cross.

[03:57.31] And exchange it someday for a crown!

[04:04.54] There's something beautiful

[04:13.31] About the cross !
