Find Us Faithful (New Version)
[00:20.12] We're pilgrims on the journey
[00:23.76] Of the narrow road,
[00:28.02] And those who've gone before us
[00:31.17] Line the way.
[00:35.68] Cheering on the faithful,
[00:39.43] Encouraging the weary,
[00:43.18] Their lives a stirring testament
[00:46.93] To God's sustaining grace.
[00:52.67] Surrounded by so great
[00:55.92] A cloud of witnesses,
[00:59.92] Let us run the race
[01:02.43] Not only for the prize,
[01:07.67] But as those who've gone before us.
[01:11.42] Let us leave to those behind us,
[01:15.67] The heritage of faithfulness
[01:19.42] Passed on thru Godly lives.
[01:24.43] O may all who come behind us
[01:28.18] Find us faithful,
[01:32.43] May the fire of our devotion
[01:35.92] Light their way.
[01:40.17] May the footprints that we leave,
[01:44.17] Lead them to believe,
[01:47.67] And the lives we live
[01:49.92] Inspire them to obey.
[01:55.17] O may all who come behind us
[01:58.92] Find us faithful.
[02:16.43] After all our hopes and dreams
[02:20.42] Have come and gone,
[02:23.93] And our children sift thru all
[02:26.92] We've left behind,
[02:31.43] May the clues that they discover,
[02:35.18] And the mem'ries they uncover,
[02:39.17] Become the light that leads them,
[02:42.68] To the road we each must find.
[02:48.31] O may all who come behind us
[02:51.81] Find us faithful,
[02:56.31] May the fire of our devotion
[03:00.06] Light their way.
[03:03.81] May the footprints that we leave,
[03:08.05] Lead them to believe,
[03:11.56] And the lives we live
[03:13.46] Inspire them to obey.
[03:22.47] O may all who come behind us
[03:26.22] Find us faithful,
[03:30.22] May the fire of our devotion
[03:33.47] Light their way.
