[00:00.38] Todd: So after Laos, where did you go?
[00:03.63] Abidemi: After Laos, I flew to Vietnam. And actually, I took the bus into Vietnam.
[00:15.13] Todd: OK.
[00:16.88] Abidemi: Yes. And in Vietnam, I traveled from the north, from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City.
[00:26.63] But because my time was so short, I could only spend one or two days in each city.
[00:34.38] Todd: Ah! What city did you like the most?
[00:37.63] Abidemi: I think I prefer Hanoi the most.
[00:41.88] The food, the street food is amazing.
[00:44.88] It’s a very lively city, lots of motorcycles and traffic so it reminded me of Nigeria where I was born a little bit.
[00:56.38] Todd: Oh cool!
[00:57.13] Abidemi: Yes.
[00:57.88] Todd: And what did you do in Vietnam?
[01:01.38] Abidemi: I spent time in Hanoi.
[01:04.63] I also went to visit Sapa, which has a lot of rice terraces.
[01:11.63] So these are mountains where they’ve planted rice fields.
[01:16.38] So the scenery, the view is really beautiful.
[01:21.13] And you also get to meet the native people, the local people there. So I enjoyed it.
[01:28.38] And then from there, I went to Hoi An, which is a very historic city, very beautiful night scenery by the river.
[01:42.38] And then I went to Ho Chi Minh City but I could only spend one night there before leaving for Myanmar.
[01:49.88] Todd: OK. And then, how was Myanmar? What did you do there?
[01:54.88] Abidemi: Myanmar was my last stop. And I didn’t have so much time there but I managed to go—but I managed to visit some of the places I really wanted to see like Yangon, Bagan, and Mandalay.
[02:18.39] I would say that Bagan was the highlight.
[02:23.39] They had many temples from the past and just seeing that many of them, it was very impressive.
[02:34.63] Todd: That’s fantastic.
[02:35.88] Abidemi: Yes.
[02:37.38] Todd: So what country was your favorite?
[02:41.63] Abidemi: It’s hard to say. They each have their own good points but I think I would definitely like to visit Thailand again.
[02:53.63] Todd: Oh OK. Thailand is such a great place. Anyway, thanks Abidemi.
[02:59.13] Abidemi: Thank you, Todd.
