[00:00.89] Todd: OK. Hello?

[00:02.14] Kevin: Hi! How you doing?

[00:02.64] Todd: I'm doing pretty good.

[00:03.64] Kevin: Good.

[00:04.14] Todd: What's your name?

[00:04.89] Kevin: My name is Kevin.

[00:06.14] Todd: Kevin. Where are you from?

[00:07.14] Kevin: I'm from Pheonix, Arizona.

[00:08.39] Todd: OK. Nice.

[00:10.14] Kevin: In the United States.

[00:11.14] Todd: Wow, were you born in Phoenix?

[00:12.39] Kevin: Actually, no. I was actually born in New York because my parents happened to be living in New York at that time.

[00:19.14] My father was a Major League baseball player and the year I was born, 1971, he was playing with the Mets in New York City.

[00:28.64] My birthday is in May, May 25th to be precise, and so my mother happened to be with my father in New York because it was baseball season.

[00:38.39] So I was actually born in New York but I grew up in Phoenix. Phoenix is what I consider to be my hometown.

[00:44.64] Todd: Wow! That's amazing. Do you remember anything about New York?

[00:47.89] Kevin: Yes. Actually, I do have a few memories because we spent probably three years there from the time I was born.

[00:57.64] Obviously, until I was about two and a half or three years, we spent the summers or the baseball season in New York.

[01:05.39] We rented a condominium on the second floor and I remember it was right across the street from La Guardia Airport.

[01:12.89] Of course, when I was a little kid, one and two years old, I used to love sitting by the kitchen windows.

[01:18.89] I even remember it was a bay window, the kind where you can roll the window open.

[01:22.64] I used to roll the window open and just watch the airplanes take off and land all day.

[01:28.64] Todd: Wow! That's cool.

[01:30.14] Kevin: Another memory I have is the people, the couple that lived below us was an elderly couple and they acted pretty much like our grandparents.

[01:39.64] I actually called them Grandma and Grandpa.

[01:42.39] Grandma Stevenson used to give me a bath in her kitchen sink because I was so small.

[01:50.14] Todd: Wow!

[01:50.89] Kevin: That she would actually give me a bath in her kitchen sink and I remember that as well.

[01:53.89] Todd: Wow, those are good memories.
